Emma Kvitnitsky is a chemist with over 20 years of experience in plant extract chemistry and technology, microcapsulation technologies, physical and polymer chemistry. In addition, she has managed activities of R&D/QC laboratories, scale-up, production and technological development as well as planning and establishment of production facilities.
Emma Kvitnitsky has established start-up companies with great success, including
TAGRA Biotechnology Ltd., Israel, utilizing skills in innovative business development, management and protection of IP. The company supplies micro-capsulated active ingredients to multinational companies such as Estee Lauder, L’Oreal, Revlon and others.
She is a founder of startup companies
· Naturamed (botanical drug from Opuntia ficus indica),
· FuCan (pharma ingredients from soil fungi),
· TarriTech (natural volatiles for postharvest protection)
She is also associated with MIGAL Galilee Technology Center and served 30 years as manager of its laboratory “Chemistry of Plant Extracts” responsible for the development of botanical plant extracts including extraction technology, analytical methods, isolation of active compounds and reference standards from plants.
Emma Kvinitsky is the founder and CEO of E.M.M.A. Management and Consulting Ltd providing services “from R&D to business”. Activities are focused on a wide spectrum of industries related to botanical extracts, agriculture, food supplements, food and medical food, cosmetics and dermatology, delivery systems, and pharmacy.
As a researcher and co-inventor of several patented products related to plant extract technology and micro-capsulation, over 80 unique raw materials have been introduced and commercialized on the world market.
Today Emma focused on a new enterprise. She is a founder and CTO of start-up company Nuversys, which develop and produce a delivery system for food ingredients.
